Federal Polytechnic Daura –Knowledge that inspires.

The lecture was presented by the Guest Lecturer, in person of Dr. Suleiman Zangina, Deputy Director Research TETFund, who is an esteemed expert in research proposal development.

The opening ceremony, which took place on 14th August, 2025 was held at the School of Vocational Education, Skills and Professional Development Multi-purpose Hall, Zango Road.

The Registrar, Suleiman Saad Gwarzo, warmly welcomed participants to the workshop. He urged the academic staff to seize the opportunity to deepen their knowledge and contribute to the advancement of academic excellence within the institution. He further assured the academics staff, the maximum support of the Polytechnic management whenever it comes providing such interventions to the Polytechnic community.

In his remarks, the Chief Host, Dr. Musa Gambo K.K., FNIM, FNIMN, frpa, the Rector of Federal Polytechnic Daura, emphasized the importance of the event and congratulated the participants for being fortunate to have among them a rare scholar and expert in research proposal development, Dr. Suleiman Zangina who came the way from Abuja to Daura and delivered the lecture. He charged the participants to study the NRF curriculum thoroughly, stressing on the need to enhance the Polytechnic chances of securing the National Research Fund Award of 2025, in line with the institution vision of academic excellence, research innovation and Fabrication of equipment and technology tools which will compete favourablly in this era of the 21st century.

The workshop was conducted successfully, underscoring impactful knowledge and generating meaningful ideas that will shape the research development of the Federal Polytechnic Daura staff and beyond.

The Management of Federal Polytechnic Daura, Katsina State, is proud to announce its historic victory at the Daura Zone Inter-Federal Agencies Football Game, clinching the coveted of Inter-agency Unity Cup.

The tournament, which brought together eleven (11) Federal Government parastatals within the Daura Emirate, was organized to promote familiarization, unity, and cooperation among federal establishments in the area.

On Friday, 8th August, 2025, history was made at the Alh. Dr. Umar Faruk Umar Faruk, CON Stadium, along Kano Road in Daura, as Federal Polytechnic Daura football team faced the Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) in a thrilling final. The teams displayed an extraordinary level of skill, determination and sportsmanship, culminating in Federal Polytechnic Daura well-deserved victory.

The staff of Federal Polytechnic Daura showcased not only athletic ability but also the institution’s enduring commitment to science, technology and innovation, proving that excellence extends beyond academics into sports. This remarkable achievement reinforces the belief that a healthy body supports a healthy mind and he who exercises, dies healthy.

Under the sterling leadership of Dr. Musa Gambo K.K., FNIM, FNIMN, frpa, the Management commended the team for bringing glory to the Polytechnic. In his remarks, the Rector, Dr. Gambo K. k.
